Property Manager Spotlight:
Doreen Reagle, CPM, CCIM
Senior Portfolio Manager Arden Realty, Inc.

“Where great office space is only the beginning of an exceptional business experience.”

Doreen Reagle is a native of San Diego and has been managing commercial property since January 1985. She joined the Arden Realty team a little more than four years ago.

As a senior portfolio manager, Doreen oversees six property managers who manage an impressive portfolio of forty buildings. These buildings comprise approximately 2.8 million square feet of commercial and office space - almost sixty-nine acres of rental space. Arden is the second largest landlord in the San Diego region.

When asked what is the largest challenge she faces daily, Doreen comments that performing at top levels, day after day, really depends on one word: “communication.” Communication is active listening and staying fully engaged in the course of a busy work day. It’s a challenge that few people master. “People underestimate the power of active listening,” comments Doreen. “When you pay attention to people, you can really start to build relationships on a different level.”

Doreen also believes that to be successful in business, one needs to continually educate oneself and stay abreast of new trends. “If you can learn one new thing each day, your time will have been well spent.” Clearly, Doreen’s positive philosophy contributes to Arden’s mission to provide an exceptional business environment for its tenants.
